As a not-for-profit institution, Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa relies on the generosity of the community to achieve high standards of excellence in patient care, and education. Private contributions strengthen our funding resources – allowing us to provide groundbreaking programs, services, technologies to our patients.

There are many ways you can contribute to the hospital and its services:

Donate Online

Donate now via our secure online payment method. You may designate your online gift to a specific fund or area of greatest need, and make a memorial or tribute gift online.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

An act of generosity and kindness combined, a memorial or tribute gift honors someone special:

Honor a loved one or friend.
Commemorate a holiday or life event.
Express gratitude to a special doctor, nurse or other medical center staff member.

You may make a tribute gift online, or through our printable donation form - just indicate your gift is in honor of a loved one or your favorite physician. If you request, we will mail a card on your behalf to the honoree or family, notifying them of your gift and without mentioning the amount.

Employee Giving

Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa's Employee Caring & Sharing program gives employees an opportunity to personally help co-workers facing hardship and patients in financial need through the Employee Hardship Fund and Sutter Samaritan Fund.

Cash/Outright Gifts

Any immediate gift using a personal check, cash or credit card. You may choose to make the gift unrestricted or designated to a particular program or service.

Annual Gifts

Any cash gift to help sustain ongoing programs and operations. With the cost of patient care, services, and technology rising each year, SMCSR increasingly depends on annual gifts. You may choose to make the gift unrestricted or you may direct it to an area that is especially meaningful to you or your loved ones.

Pledge

Any gift you wish to make over an extended period of time by agreeing to a regularly scheduled payment.

Stock/Real Estate Gifts

Any transfer of stocks, bonds or real estate to SMCSR. This type of donation may provide significant tax advantages to the donor.

Capital Gifts

Allows your gift to support needs such as construction of rooms, or buildings, major unit renovation, and new equipment. Periodically, major capital campaigns are planned to meet global changes and needs – bringing SMCSR to a new level of growth. Capital donations frequently provide opportunities for name recognition of a family or individual that has made the support of SMCSR a part of their tradition.
