The Joint Commission Recognizes Sutter Santa Rosa for Outstanding Performance
Top Performer on Key Quality Measures, for three consecutive years
November 13, 2014 – The Joint Commission, the nation’s leading accreditor of health care organizations, recognized Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital among the nation's Top Performers on Key Quality Measures® for the third consecutive year. The Top Performer program recognizes U.S. hospitals for exemplary performance in evidence-based clinical processes shown to improve care for certain medical conditions. Only 36.9 percent of Joint Commission-accredited hospitals and critical access hospitals in the nation earned the distinction of Top Performer for quality performance.
"We’re committed to continually evaluating and improving the care we deliver so that we best meet the changing needs of our patients and communities. These recognitions, by the well-respected Joint Commission, are a testament to the talented professionals who work tirelessly across our network to ensure that our patients receive an exceptional, compassionate and consistent experience," said Gordon Hunt, M.D., senior vice president and chief medical officer for Sutter Health.
